Happy New Year!
UCC Media Justice appreciates your support
As we work to make sure that low-income people will have access to affordable broadband over the holidays and plan for a full year of pressing for affordable communication for people in prison, jail and detention and for a fully diverse and accountable local media, will you chip in to support our work?
UCC Media Justice is had a successful and amazing Parker Lecture with the wise, urgent words of Eric K. Ward. We honored trail blazers like the National Digital Inclusion Alliance's Angela Siefer and Next Century City's Francella Ochillo.
We spent hours and hours helping to implement the Emergency Broadband Benefit for low-income families and its successor the Affordable Connectivity Plan. We worked with our allies to press the Biden Administration to ensure we have a fully-functional FCC. We coordinated new outreach pressing for safe, accountable social media without hate. We collaborated with our civil rights partners on new efforts to protect privacy.
